Chasing the Mysterious Cat It was an ordinary afternoon when I was strolling near the school playground. Suddenly, a black-and-white cat darted past the corner of the school building. My curiosity was piqued, and I quietly followed it. The cat slipped through the corridor and disappeared near the oldest building in the school. Last night, I was sitting in the living room, enjoying the peaceful night. The occasional rustling of leaves in the wind added to the quiet atmosphere. Just as I was about to turn off the TV and go to bed, a strange buzzing sound came from outside, like the hum of an electronic device. I frowned, feeling a little uneasy, but curiosity got the better of me, and I walked toward the window to check it out.   As I peeked outside, a blinding blue beam of light tore through the night sky, illuminating the entire yard.
